Mission Statement

The mission of the Riverside Township Police Department is to maintain the quality of life we enjoy and to ensure Riverside is a safe place to live, work, and play.

This will be accomplished through protecting life and property, arresting violators, safeguarding individual liberties, building community partnerships, preventing crime, and resolving those crimes which do occur.

The Riverside Police Department recognizes that we cannot fulfill this mission without community support. It is imperative that a dialogue characterized by mutual trust and open and honest communication be maintained between this agency an our community. Our vision includes a willingness to continually examine and modify policies and procedures and assure that our mission is accomplished in a manner compatible with the best interest of the community.

We are committed to this mission and conduct or responsibilities toward a goal of excellence and with dedication to the community we serve.
